J. Nicholson (Nick) Thomas is a highly accomplished senior executive and legal counsel with over 40 years of experience within legal and financial fields. He has had oversight of all legal matters as General Counsel for QRI since its formation in 2007, and currently also serves as QRI’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all financial, accounting and tax matters. Mr. Thomas previously spent over 30 years with the firm Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher LLP in Los Angeles, CA, where he worked his way up to partner. He was responsible for sophisticated legal and tax matters pertaining to the purchase and acquisition of businesses, mergers and joint venture agreements, with a primary focus on private equity fund formations and complex joint operating arrangements. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
