The self-assessment of a client’s reservoir management practices represents a significant organizational undertaking for the technical staff and the management of the Field Development groups . RMX is an internal review process - a self-assessment by the client - consisting of a structured, systematic workflow supported by a metrics-driven toolkit. Using a distinct set of pertinent metrics, the internal asset team answers a series of questions that provides a rapid understanding of the field development plan’s success or problem areas. These practices help achieve production targets, establish action plans to address any and all obstacles, and certifies that maximum ultimate recovery is targeted for each reservoir in the long term. By implementing the process on an annual basis, RMX promotes a reservoir-focused culture at all levels and ensures that field development proceeds with best-in-class reservoir management.
